We have charter Black Manta for a special trip in April 2014, going to the Ring of Fire. Due to cancellation I have one more space if anyone is interested. There are 17 of us currently on this trip, mainly divers from the forum.
A fairly experienced diver is preferred as we will be diving the most remote locations in Indonesia, only reachable by a liveaboard. I haven't heard anyone diving the Ring of Fire in April so this will be a one off exploration trip. There is only one trip a year for all the LOB and usually this trip are full a year in advanced.
Our itinerary will be as follow :
Ambon - Banda Sea - Ring of Fire - Alor - Komodo
22 April : Depart SG - JKT - Ambon
23 April - 2 May: Diving days: Ambon - Banda Sea - Ring of Fire - Alor - Komodo
3 May : Depart Labuan Bajo - Bali - SG
Total: 11 days
Diving days: 10 days (30 dives min)
Itinerary subject to change based on sea condition, weather, popular votes etc. We don't have a fixed schedule at each location. Please note that, unlike the more popular diving destinations, nobody know for sure if we can dive there during this time. Based on last October trip, they encountered two sites with schooling hammerheads which is what we are hoping to see.
