  • Hi All,

We just came back form the exploration trip, we started checked out dive at Mambang, 2nd dive at North point, 3rd dive at Magicienne Rock, 4th dive at Tiger Reef, night dive at Labas. We did last dive at Bahara island before sailing back to Singapore.

Surprisingly current at both Magicienne Rock and Tiger Reef was almost zero but visibility was very poor especially Tiger Reef, we got only few meters visibility, nevertheless these dive sites are really beautiful, full of healthy corals and marine life, it is definitely worth the trip.

As usual for LOBs, we always have the dive sites to our own.

There is no free slots anymore for this season to organize such Eastern Tioman dive trips, I will definitely plan for few trips next year, however, due to challenging dive conditions, such trip can only accept experience divers.

    Regards,
    KP

  • With no current and clear sky, it would have been a terrific trip if not for the visibility. Even so, I still think it's a fruitful trip. Tiger Reef and Magicienne Rock are still as beautifully and as lively. KP, please try to organise more of this trip in the future.

Aside to the dive sites, I reckon it's was a fantastic trip, meeting old friends and making new ones - Top notch crew, sumptuous food and of course the rejuvenating Thai massage. Just a tip for everyone, I think its best to book the massage schedule, even before you get on this boat.  :P

Special thanks to Josh from Pro Fix for letting me try the DPV. First time trying an underwater scooter and I got lost in 30 seconds :P  It was wicked! Now I understand why people carry 40kg torpedo around. I think I'm have to sell my camera and get a scooter soon.
