  • This is the species of moray that bit me !
    Not sure of its name as I could not ID from fish books.
    On separate occasions on the same trip, the same kind also took a small nibble at my wife's hand and my nephew got small bite around his palm, unprovoked.
    Do watch out for them !

  • Probably it's used to humans hand feeding them with food. So it associated our hands with food.
