  • if in adelaide now, during winter, remember to go Victor harbour. It's abt 70km away from Adelaide city. Rent a car (remember to pay more for insurance to reduce excess) and share with 5 other pple.  Petrol is generally cheaper on Mon - Wed.

    Road signs are ez.

Go Victor harbour, granite island check out the holes on the ground, look for tiny penguins & go whale watching. Ask around :)

Next, go Handorf, a 100+yr old German town up the hill. Very nice steak they serve & very big portions. IF you are a steak lover, it's not to be missed.  In Chinatown, there's a very nice steak resturant by Argentinans (i might mispell).

go to Glenelg (pronounced as "Glen - nel") beach, brighton beach beautiful beach that faces the Southern Ocean.

Can go strawberry picking at Handorf Beerenberg Farm, and dont forget to try the laksa in Chinatown. Is that where you get your nick from?

  • To people who likes nature, blue sky (cloudless) & beautiful sea/beaches, Adelaide is a nice place where people greet each other on the streets, when paying at cashiers, etc and hardly see crowds.

Cinema tickets was A$10, student on weekdays $8. Now it's A$14 - 15, student no idea.  With all the movies downloading, who needs cinema regularly? :)

I'm looking forward to this wonderful place.
