« on: 15 Jan 15, 10:06 »
Hello Divers!!!

I'm back!!! hahaha

just wonder if anyone has experience diving Europe?

I'm looking at diving in Ibiza, Croatia and Greece!!

Search online, dive doesn't seems fantastic and each dive approximately 45-55 euros!!!

Oh boy, now I really appreciate the luxury diving in asia! :)

Talk soon!! :)
Diving is like passion, deep and sensational, and sometimes dangerous.

Taking a break from diving. Boohoo~

I always vacationed in Asia when I was living in Europe... but I believe the number one dive spot in the Med is Malta (sea life is generally nowhere near as good as Asia, but Malta has some impressive rock formations)

Malta ftw! wrecks are amazing there. and the underwater Christ statue. Malta itself also offers great touring. Not too touristic also.

Croatia does not offer much for diving. Clear water is what you see and get.

temperate waters generally do not have much coral formations and fishes. but scape is still nice.

thermocline is real. surface temp is 28 deg C. at 30m depth, it's 16-20 deg C. Dived in July 2014.

typical price for diving is 30-50eur/dive depending on location. 10 dives package probably cost around 250 eur to 400 eur. DIN tanks are used.

Dive sites famous in Malta: Cirkewwa, Blue Lagoon, MV Imperial Eagle + JC Statue

Hi Guys!

Results of my research..

Diving in Ibiza, yes, heard it was okie and I will give it a try in july.

As for Greek islands, a lot of wrecks but marine life aint that great so perhaps I will stay dry and get drunk.

As for Croatia, im looking at some diving at hvar island. not sure yet since I don't have any onformation as yet.

Malta, I don't have budget ah. maybe next time. :)

My wife and I contacted Capri Mare Club Diving through facebook and made appointment for two dives before we head to Italy last month and sadly when we arrived at Capri Island last week, the dive shop was closed. After waiting for two hours, we decided to make other plans on the Island. Our messages were left unanswered. They were the only dive company at that island for now. Our bucketlist to check off Thyrhenian Sea from our diving spots did not happen.
