Just got back from diving Truk Lagoon (Chuuk).
If you are into wrecks it is pretty astonishing, makes everywhere else just look silly. Done lots of dives on places like Liberty at Tulamben before and this just isn't worth comparing. Boats, planes and subs, planes IN boats, tanks ON boats, trucks IN boats..... All very much intact and remarkable stuff on and in them (San Francisco Maru still has 3 tanks on the deck plus mines, depth charges etc).
It is very worthwhile although v exp and a pain in the ass to get to (bloody Americans to start with in Guam, wtf do you need to go through US immigration when in transit?

?). Also many deco dives and not diving air much.
Also had a surface interval swimming first with dolphins then with grey and silvertip sharks. Anyway, if into this I'd thoroughly recommend it, if not then you should be or get a new hobby.
Stayed at Truk Stop and they were great. Hopefully some photos to come, I'm not a photog but buddies were and hopefully they will let me share.
