Any freedivers out there?
« on: 11 Aug 14, 19:42 »
I know this is scuba diving forum but we are all lovers of the ocean. I have been scuba diving for more than 10 years now but recently picked up freediving, just plunging into the ocean without any tanks, so liberating. It's very mental for me but thats the challenge.

Want to find out if any freedivers out there or anyone interested in trying out freediving?
This is definitely a growing sport and since Singaporeans so competitive… hehehe

Cool! I'm sure its a sport thats picking up!

Guessboy, you definitely MUST try this sport.
Check out this video my instructor and I made while freediving in the Philippines just last week, if you want to join us just send me a message! The conditions here are fabulous for freediving. You can take beginner AIDA course and in 3 days it is definitely possible to reach 20m.  ;)

Thats cool! where are you going to do it?
read my blog about '5 Reasons why you should freedive'

If you are thinking about doing the beginner course which takes only 2.5 days in Cebu with excellent dive conditions, including diving with sardines and turtles, then come visit us here :)

It's not difficult to start (or train). By the end of your entry-level freediving course you should be able to hold your breath for at least 2mins ;)
