Freedivers
« on: 06 Apr 12, 17:28 »
Dear all,

Good evening. :)

Pardon me. I am not sure if it's ok or i am at the right place to ask the following. FREEDIVING that is!
Any brothers or sisters here who's into it? I am trying to see if there's any chance of gathering such people so they can practice and train together.  :P

It's not popular in Singapore and moreover there's no way to practice or train alone because it's very dangerous and requires a buddy to swim with at all times because sampa/blackout may occur any moment. ::)

I am thinking of heading down to KL in May to go for the AIDA certification. But before i do, i thought i can meet some people who has done it before to tell me more or show me some basics to be sure that Freediving is what i want to get into. ???

Kindly advice and many thanks! :-*

Regards,
Wannabe

I tink there's a school in moalboal conduct freediving course. Quite reputable too. Can try. :) meanwhile can dive too. Lolx

But I suppose freediving kinda bad for the lung?
Diving is like passion, deep and sensational, and sometimes dangerous.

Taking a break from diving. Boohoo~

Yea, the free fall is damn cool, but the part when he doesn't hav enough air to surface is equally scary.
