Tioman - Cost effective way to dive?

i thought go with diveshop also $300-350 only? no need to drive, can sleep on the way up and down. diving can be really tiring, especially for new divers.

siaokao:
Yup.. u can get a complete trip for abt $350~380 for tioman and as low as $320 for dayang.  If you check out some promo price.. as low as $250?

Jordan76:
Well, if you're going monthly i'm sure "many" dive shops will be happy to have you as their customer and offer additional "savings" for you. :)

A complete trip would be less hassle and perhaps more relaxing over the entire weekend!

Oh, Dayang had great viz over last weekend... NICE!!!

Very interesting responses. Thanks. & yes - most DCs from Singapore are SGD 350-400. Nice idea to negotiate a better price for multiple trips - will try that.

One thing that cuts into the cost is equipment rental. I just need BCG + reg set, but thats approx SGD20 per day (assuming its 2 ppl 3D weekend = SGD120 per trip). Is there any place to rent cheaper in Singapore? Or better to go to Tioman and rent?

Rgds,
