Hi all, I'm from Hong Kong, and planning ahead for a dive trip in Tioman on late June '12.

I went Timon about 10 years ago. Now thinking of bring my family there (total 5 pax). Any recommendation for budget travel. What is the package cost if depart from Singapore? Or if a drive to the M'sia Jetty, then what is my saving? Will it be better to Is the place still like last time.... water very clear and u can see color fish swimming around u even the water is at knee level?

Welcome to scubasg. If you are prepared to drive your family up to mersing yourself, I believe that will be most economical. Petrol cost is minimal, parking is not too expensive. Go to the web and check out resorts on the island and book them yourself. :)
