    • Based on the recommendations here, I have decided to send my two set of regulators to Profix prior to my Christmas trip. I'm happy to report that like many others, Joshua is indeed highly recommended. He is a certified technician for most brands and yes, his work station is impressive.

    Quality of work is excellent. Usually I don't really bother about regulators but this time I actually felt the difference in breathing effort. It's more seamless now and I really like it. Also, my regulators actually looks quite good when he returned them. He probably did some cleaning up.

    Look no further, Joshua is the man!

    • I have a incident in which I service my regs but the next trip I went to, the hose was leaking The DC points out servicing does not cover wet test. Is it true? Isn't hose leakage part of servicing?

    I had the same thing happen to me 2 years ago as well and was told the same thing as well. But my hoses were around 6 years old then and about 200+ dives so maybe was about time to change.

    Not really. Servicing usually covers first and 2nd stage servicing. I think hose is a sticky issue. if it was leaking while they were servicing then i think they do have a responsibility to at least inform u and recommend a change. but stuff like hoses can start to leak at any moment esp the HP ones.

    • Has anyone serviced their regulators with Profix Solutions/Joshua recently?

    The phone line is "Not In Service" according to the StarHub auto voice message.

    • Just thought to add. Recently sent my US Divers Regs to Tony Sabas from Sabas Scuba (sabasscuba@gmail.com). He did an excellent job servicing the brass. Very passionate about his work as well and always a joy to chat with. Been thinking about heading back to catch up but schedule hasn't permitted me to get to his workbench. He's quite a distance away from me as well up in Woodlands Sector 1.

    So Tony has set up his own shop now ? 
    The last time I met him, he was with OPS Technologies (Aqualung dealer).
