local vs overseas?

So far the most affordable place i found is Koh Tao and Bali, of cos, haven't factor in accommodation + food.

what are the price range like?

If to do locally, i understand from fellow DMs that there's many "slavery work" involved if you know what i mean.

Any input would be greatly appreciated~! :)
Diving is like passion, deep and sensational, and sometimes dangerous.

Taking a break from diving. Boohoo~

I've been doing quite a bit of research recently about this as well! Eventually I decided to go with Bali (Nusa Lembongan) for Rescue and DM. I did my first-aid course with the Red Cross Society cos can claim SkillsFuture :D

The courses I've found all cost about USD300+ for Rescue and USD100+ for EFR. DM courses range from USD1000+ to USD2000+ depending on the length of the courses, and types of things they include such as accommodation, food, etc.

I would prefer going to a nice place to take your course, relax and enjoy, as I don't like to rush my course.
I would recommend Phillipines, Cebu, Moalboal, Savadra Dive Center. highly recommand Martin Silans, Master Instructor, you can check him and the place out in tip advisory and fb.

One of the place and Instructor whom you will never forget.

if you can, take the dm course overseas, not in singapore. there are just so many incompetent instructors/shops that cannot conduct a proper DM course other than using you for free labor. I learnt so much more from the guides overseas than the shop I learnt in Singapore.
