hello diving peeps.
I am ceritfied SSI advance adventurer moving up to rescue course and on my way to DM.
am contented just being a leisure diver, but equipped with essentials and strong knowledge for future dives.
Does the course require me to present first aid/CPR cert prior to enrolling?
can anyone offer advise so i can take up the course first prior to contacting diveshops?
appreciate all advises.knowing this might be a redundant qns.
dive it like u mean it
Most shops will be happy if you are not CPR certified so that they can then conduct the course for you and charge you. :)
Many shops will offer Rescue + CPR/First Responder.
However, if you have your valid certification already from a recognised agency, they should recognise it.
Choice is yours if you wanna do it with another agency (and have broader recognition) or do the dive agency course and have it more targetted by your instructor to diving related scenarios.
yes. EFR from padi.react right from SSI.
they are diving related courses prior to the actual Rescue diver course.
Jaryl, thanks much.
i will proceed to get certified under red cross as it is being covered under the skillsfuture claims.
it covers the knowledge of basic first aid and CPR as well, not only in water.
