Yay! another one getting hooked to the sport! Glad you enjoyed the experience!

Why not consider taking up the full open water course? then you can go rent tanks and play at the pool anytime you want.. hahah..

Actually I got 3 problems: First is the time, only have time during weekends means Saturdays and Sundays because weekdays are work week. Second is the money, although working full-time but money will always not enough. Lastly is the biggest problem of all; lack of self-confidence plus forget this forget that plus healthy or not healthy...

Money is always a problem. U gotta decide if this is worthwhile pursuing to you.... And then work out how to pay for it. Money isn't going to fall from the sky to solve your problems and you can't depend on discounted trips always (realistically.. Save 30-50 bucks on a trip won't really save much in the long run. Furthermore.. Some of the better dive site trips will cost much more that what u save won't really be material).

I took my OW 3-4 years ago and stopped diving after. Then last year I jumped back in (had to work hard to improve the money situation). Lately been diving almost monthly... I don't forsake savings or other commitments to dive. I just plan for it... and I can tell you it's worth it to me.

if saving 30 dollar a month .. .u can get a kick ass strobe for that uw camera..

then i see no reason why u cannot do this scuba diving ...

i am not sure what time u worked till.. but theory and pool lessons can be done on weekday night.  that wont last more then 1-2 hours.  u dun even have to do it in that same week.  i did it 1st week theory.. 2nd week practical... 3rd week then do ow at aur.

money.. as above.. now its august.. lets say u plan to do it when the season open again in 2013 feb/march.  u got lot of time.  each month u save 100 dollar... enough liao...  :)

lack of confidence... well.. u can start going swimming now.. although not totally related.. it gets you comfortable with the water.. dun think scuba diving is as difficult as it is.. it has come a long way.. to make thinks easy for everyone...

hey.... talking about it no point.  just fix a date and try it out... if u like it great.. if you don't .. move on to something else...  :)

I will just stick on Discover Scuba Diving Program temporary until I am fully ready for Open Water Diver...

Everyone, that was the last Discover Scuba Diving Program I had and it was a BLAST !   :D  :(

Beautiful things have to end one day and it ended yesterday at 12 noon... :(

I miss my Scuba Diving Program, I miss my instructors and I will miss it until it goes back to the beginning and I hope so... ;)  :(

From the moment I went into the swimming pool, I started to shiver so badly that I almost like dancing in the water with the instructors and students looking and concern to me...  :-[

SAFRA Mount Faber at 10.00am yesterday morning (Saturday, 18 August 2012), I will never forget this day that I had even more fun than last time doing this Discover Scuba Diving Program.

I failed to put my mask underwater (inhale from my mouth and exhale out from my nose slowly and steadily) for both and that is where I felt a despair in my heart...  >:(

I did better this time compared to last time as I able to breath calmly through my regulator (mouthpiece), the always fogging mask and not really trustworthy fins. Went for like 3 rounds across half of the swimming pool but that was REALLY A BLAST !  :P

Lastly I just want to thanks my instructors who has help me fulfill my dream to Discover Scuba Diving Program because I failed to participate my previous Discover Scuba Diving Course organized by (www.deal.com.sg) like about 1 year ago I do not remember the voucher code for the 1 year ago and I felt sad cos I paid S$32 for that stuff wasted.

I forgotten to buy more coupons for the Discover Scuba Diving Program from the very beginning so that I can try again and again and again and not been sick. Please (www.groupon.sg), give me back that Discover Scuba Diving Program as soon as possible so that I will not avoid any disappointment ever again...  :D

If really anyone thinks that this sentence 'Discover Scuba Diving Program' is too long to be seen, I can replace it with this short form "DSCP" next time..  :)

Wow you are soo passionate ! Sooner or later yo sign for the OWDC!  :)

Now I only have 2 problems, the time and money. The fun of Discover Scuba Diving Program was just part of it but not yet certified to go for more advanced like you said Open Water Diving...

Don't think it's a very scary experience... The ones in S.Africa where you go into a cage maybe... But the underwater world in sentosa doesn't look it's got much room to dive in.. Not sure it's that much fun... Anyone tried in sentosa and can report?
