  • But had to take my regs set-up and test the used tanks 1 by 1  :'( to find one with enough air to use.

Maybe this method would've saved you some time?  ;)

  •  I tested my gear at queenstown diving pool today. Depth is 4.5m max.

So much better than Outram's 2m.
Pool is definitely smaller,  est less than half of Outram.

I booked with SUF, it's $33+$1.30 entrance fee. You can get more info here. http://suf.org.sg/queentown-dive-pool-is-now-open-for-booking/

  • they are closed on PH! only at Safra for PH I think, or alternatively, go to a friend's condo!  :P

Just to update all, mount faber safra no longer can do scuba dive testing.the life guard told me have to write in to their mgt to ask for their approval then they'll cordon off a section for the scuba divers.think this is an ad hoc arrangement n last time can test dive bec there was a scuba club here or something... Also, just been to outram pool to check if open or not today (3rd day of CNY) & they're closed.. Btw, outram pool carpark no more as they are building a new building extension there now m the old carpark is used up.think have to park at the hdb carpark opposite now?

  • Still is. 26 bucks for tank and weights. Grandstand was under renovation when I was there 2 months back. Slightly harder to move around.

  • Can one just go to Queenstown with ones own tank?
