Came back from Malapascua last week and nice meeting and diving with diverChris.
Sharing some thresher shark photos , ratio was 6 out of 7 , first day encounter was the best , the closest distance was less than a metre plus circuling for more than 20mins!

  • I have point and shoot Sea & Sea DX-2G and like to know the setting like aperture and shutter speed? Understand cannot use strobe there in case it scare of the sharks. I am heading to Cebu City tomorrow for a taste of Cebu night life and then to Malaspascua on Sunday. hee

  • Yes , not allow to use strobe , plus they put lines/ropes at certain area and divers have to wait there and not allow to cross the line.....

I set the shutter to as low as possible about 1/80 to 1/60 cos the thresher swim quick slow , aperture depend , ISO i set to auto. Some shots ISO as low as 640 and as high as 6000 depend on the vis

    Good luck guys!
