its possible to do a one-day trip in pulau sibu? what's the itinerary like (including starting point from singapore)? and the total costs including full rental gear?

Well they reckon they leave Tanjong Leman at 9am so I hope you like getting up early.....

Mail and phone are on their web, give em a call.  Personally I reckon it would be a very long and tiring day for seriously average diving but each to their own.

  • Let us know how it goes.

I have dived at rawa but not sibu. It was a nice chilled weekend but diving was errmmm, wet.

Didn't care much was for training and viz was ok but nothing to see. If I was going up just to dive then tioman or aur much better.

Anyhow, have fun and report back please.

  • come on, someone organize a scubasg dive trip. :p

I suppose this is directed towards DIN??  ;D

Sorry boys, we will definitely organise a trip soon. I like to meet all of you too.  ;D It's just that my hands are tied with work at the moment. I don't even have much time on this forum. Now that we have more members, I am sure we can do something together like Zoo excursion or a trip to UnderwaterWorld or something  ;D ;D

Do you think we should collabrate with a DC and organised a trip or do it on our own? Any suggestions?

excursion to the UnderwaterWorld would be interesting? Do we "protest" against them for keeping the poor dolphins in the tiny pond or enjoy what we see? Or maybe a dive in the shark tank? :D
    woohoo...

Boys??? Is this going to be a guys dive out? What about the girls?

Im definately keen if girls are allowed  ::)

Can we help Din by giving him some options?
Eg: Which month? Can those interested at least let him know which month ur looking at ?

Day trip or a few day dive trip/ weeknd trip?
If day trip where? Hantu ? Pulau Sibu?

A few day dive trip? Any dive spot to recommend for travel maybe from Nov till Jan or Feb 2011?

Maybe we can gate crash one of Mod Thomssi's dive trip since he's going every month?  :P

Personally i prefer a proper dive trip and not a day trip.

  • i'm back from P.Sibu

A definite must go if you are desperate for air and only have one day to spare. Vis is so-so but the marine life is abundant!
