I dived there before but didnt stayed at Seaventure. There a lot of interesting life under the rig. Heaps of stonefish, crocodile fish, lionfish and macro. From what I heard, there's an elevator to bring you down the water so you down have to jump and the best part was that this elevator will wait till you finish your dive and bring you up. It sounds very cool and all the reviews that I heard was very encouraging. I love to try to stay there too.

Like all the resort around Mabul, they offer unlimited dives but then again, its deep under the rig. I think its about 25 meter if I remember correctly so that will limit your unlimited dive.  ;D

Unless you are on a budget, you should try and consider to stay on a resorrt. although the house reef is fantastic i would say!

the only house reef that requires a safety stop? (i may be wrong on this one...)

we stayed at SWV and dived there 3 times--all were great and plenty of kodak moments. at night we could hear loud disco music from our chalet from Seaventure. very brightly lit. heard that the food is so so only (SWV food was the best i have ever had in a resort bar none), and you will be staying in an air-cond container. and yes, that sea-lift is pretty kewl. not very well patronised though...

but, but my recomm would be Kapalai as we saw flamboyant cuttlefish there by the dozens (May 2010), almost stepped on one !! they more than made up for the long journey from singapore.
