  • I when with Peter's Dive Centre..... good and reasonablitily priced. And the only few DC I know that has both Pink & Yellow pygmy seahorses at their house reef...  ;D

Hi, thanks . I'm checking with them on the price and just got to know they are fully booked for the 1st week of Jan... Hmmmph... Will wait for reply from Sogod Bay dive to see if they have any slots...

  • Great shots John!

#2 make my hair stand like enlarged pores
and I really like #5 and #9, makes me want to splurge the $$ to shoot WA :)

WA is nice.. I shoot WA with my S90 more den macro. But WA on DSLR better.. cannot buy antacid's setup, I nikon man lah.. but if can find used D80 u/w housing, I'll seriously consider.  :D
So they call it a 'FACT' coz someone made some statements on a 'FACT SHEET'? hummm...

  • i find WA is actually much harder to shoot than macro. there are so many variables and so many ways of making a WA image, but it's so much fun.

siaokao> sure you can use a nikon too.. tokina makes the 10-17 for nikon as well. it's probably the UW photographer's favourite lens. it's the only reason why i don't even want to think about FF for UW.

sogod bay dive is just right next door, i think. they had a boat sink a couple of years ago due to overcrowding, so at least the boat should be new now.  ;D

hloc> nope, no BRO at the jetty.. didn't know there was one! shittt... i wanted to stay till 90 min but everyone had already surfaced and i was getting hungry.. haha

i didn't manage to get any shots of the pygmies because there was a pretty wicked down current down at 33m where the pygmy was. i counted 3 on the seafan but couldn't get into a decent position, so i gave up and let someone else do the shooting. wish i had my compact video with me for that dive...

did you guys check out the C-on-C?  ;D

  • Yea, I have a tokina 11-16 f2.8 for my old D80.. just need to find an affordable u/w housing for it.  :p
