    I've done both, john has done both. But when you say things like maybe a torch can be a strobe and a strobe can't be a torch. I do wonder if you know what you're talking about. Like what i've stated and john has stated, the reverse is true. A strobe with a target light or video light function is essentially a torch as well. But a video torch no matter how powerful will never reach the watts/sec power of a strobe.

    Am currently leaning towards a pair of ys-01 for now.
