  • Hi,

Calling all existing SJ4000 users, are you able to install a red filter to it?

If yes, can you pls share how you did it or where you bought the adaptor from?

    Many thanks.

  • Am also thinking of getting a SJ4000. How's your experience with the SJ400 so far?

I saw a youtube video on the compatibility of the 3+ accessories on the SJ4000, and this video shows that a 3+ cover can go over the SJ4000 cover. Not sure if the fit is tight or loose.

  • This would probably work, but kinda expensive:

    http://www.magic-filters.com/amagic/int.html

Looks expensive (one piece at GBP22, 3 for GBP35), but if there are 2 other buyers we can split the cost and order the 3 pieces pack. Anyone interested?

EDIT: Saw on their website that ScubaCam is a dealer. Will give them a call to check it out.

Is that a filter for the Gopro 3 or 3+? I believe the dimensions are slightly different.

Is the fit tight, or is there a possibility it could it come off underwater?

Mind sharing where you bought it from, and how much?

    P.S. I'm getting a SJ4000 in the next couple of days ;-)

    Its a filter for gopro3, not 3+

Bought the filters from Aliexpress for abt 10 dollars (bought two pieces for 20 something dollars)

As I mentioned, its not a perfect fit.

Yes,  there is a possibility to come off.

I think If I tighten it enough, the possibility can be lowered.

    it just costs 10 dollars...so...never mind..if i lose it underwater :P

  • Do you have the link for the filter? I used the round film one but a little bit troublesome to remove it when shooting above water :/
