Dayang VS Redang?
« on: 09 Aug 14, 12:43 »
Hey guys, I'm thinking of going to Dayang. Anyone know how's the marine life there compared to Redang? I saw on the M'sia poll that more like Dayang than Redang. So hopefully that means Dayang's marine life is better?
Liveaboards scheduled this year: Similan & Surin Islands (Mar), Komodos (Aug), Raja Ampat (Nov). Lemme know if you're headed to the same areas.

Type of wild life is similar.... but I believe Dayang is alot cheaper and less crowded....

Must ask Alvin Ho... Dayang and Aur is his second home.... LOL

and yet i haven't been there for more than a year. can't say one is superior to another. it all depends on what u want to see and which sites u go to and how familiar u are. I dived dayang so often that i know where to go to look for marine creatures. i'm sure all the offshore islands off the east coast of peninsular malaysia will have similar biodiversity; dayang/tioman/redang/perhentian/tenggol etc
