might be the lack of upkeep since no divers going there at the moment. could be strong waves. couple of years ago the roof of the jetty got blown away during monsoon. aur jetty also collapsed a while back. but at least aur had govt funding to build the jetty again.

ya quite sad. supposed to do a private relak and makan trip in nov up to dayang but now dunno if still can go or not.

yes feel kind of sad too  :(......   though I didn't went Dayang as much as Alvin, but I walk thru the wooden jetty to get my Advance, Rescue, DM certification and fun dives, those were the days and now its gone with the jetty.

The jetty was my fav site for many many years and still is one of my favs. but i kinda liked the old jetty totally made of wood. lots of stuff growing on the pillars of the jetty. big variety of nudis and other critters.
