for the purpose of travel fins, I've gotten the aeris accel, which is an awesome pair for little to no currents, however, for places i've never been before, or uncertain on the conditions, I always travel with my jet fins as they have been most reliable for more than 10 years. I've also used the APS Manta Rays/Deep Outdoors six gill fins/ and now its called Hollis F2, i think they are a decent pair, however I felt better with the Aeris Accel compared to the F2, personal opinion and feel.
I use Mares Superchannel full foot fins when i go tioman.
When I used the APS Manta Ray at Crystal bay, what went thru my mind was that, I wished i had my jetfins.
It's important to try out the fins in tough conditions to know whether it suits you or not, and importantly you want yourself to have the most efficient and comfortable pair of fins for yourself.
