nemowetsuit is not bad. my friends and i made ours there. im had the 5mm jacket top with front zip. easy to wear.

Hey people, I'm pretty new to diving. I was thinking of getting a dive mask because I'm quite conscious about sharing equipment with others. I'm taking my OWD in April. I was browsing the oceanic website given by the TS :D
So I was thinking of getting this mask for starters:
OCEANIC MAKO 1 MASK w/SILICONE STRAP     S$18

Can anyone give recommendations, tips, advice? :D

I use... and prefer, Oceanic's Shadow mask.... but it cost a lot more than $18.  :P

make sure the mask fits before you buy. if it don't fit, it's useless to you however nice it looks.

wa eh not bad siah $18 only?? > is it usd or sgd
yea make sure it fits etc. best to try before u buy.
can consider convert strap to single neoprene - easier to wear and doesnt tangle & grab hair

consider a typical starter package - mask, snorkel (unlikely to use later, maybe borrow??), weight belt, booties, fins...
