Worth diving in Singapore?
« on: 10 Apr 19, 07:24 »
Will be in Singapore for work for a week. Landing early Saturday, so I thought I'd do some dives on Saturday and Sunday before the work week.

Reading through posts, the diving seems pretty bad around Singapore. Is it worth it to spend the time on a few dives around the local area? FYI, my normal dives are in rock quarries in the midwest US with 2 to 5 meters of visibility.

Any places I could day trip to and be back by the evening? That seems problematic though with the whole flying after diving thing.

If you're used to diving in quarries with 2-5m visibility, diving at Pulau Hantu should be ok.  Vis is 1-5m.Excellent macro with lots of nudibranchs, seahorses, etc.

check out dolphin explorer or GS diving.

half day 2 tank dive trips usually. (nothing stopping you from doing 2 half day trips.
depth usually <20m so NDL should not be an issue
