Title: Menstruation and Diving
Post by: dreamwaltzz on 16 Oct 10, 02:47
Can or cannot dive during menstruation  ???

I had ask all the female divers that I had known and the response I usually get is a pair of bewildered eyes, a laugh it off reaction and a "Aiya, just go dive la!"

Hmmmmm......so how to manage diving during menstruation???

It is definitely not an issue underwater but once on shore the mess will hit in, especially some dive sites requires a longer boat trip...

one option is to use a tampon, otherwise you can also wear pads. but pads feel horrible after the dive and you'll have to change them after almost every dive.

i think tampons are the best way to go.
