Title: Diving at Layang Layang

Hi Guys,

We are planning o go Layang layang  next year for first time.

Need some advise from those who had gone there before:
1) When is the best time to go there?
2) Any dive shop/operator to recommend?
3) any other advices?

I have been there 4 times  though not recently. My last visit was in 2010. The best time is April to Mid May. There is only one operator, Layang Layang Island Resort. The place was starting to look it's age but service was still good. You need to be an Advance diver and always obey the rules. You are so far out that you would not want to get DCS. Take out insurance too as evacuation costs are expensive.

they have specific instructions not to cross the max depth. if hammerheads are high on your agenda, I suggest somewhere else
