Hello All UW Photo Veterans,
1 simple, quick question.
UW light for still photos, 1500 lumens enough?
Thanks!

Depends on how far is your subject. I have used less than 500 lumens for closer subjects before and they are ok.

Yes, agree. It really depends on how far, the angle you are taking and whether you are taking upwards (facing surface) or downwards (to the seabed). If macro, i only use 860lumens which i think is more than enough.

It is all depending on the beam angle of the torch. FOr me, I have a 3800lumen at 130degree. I can managed about 1 meter.

Is it good to use? I want to use it.
