Title: high blood pressure?
Post by: Nondiver on 25 May 10, 12:06
i'm planning to learn diving with an aunt, she's in her 50s and generally loves watersports. She has mildly high blood pressure. Any special advice or does it not matter?

If shes on medication.... like me.... shouldn't be too big a problem. But never the less.... start really really slow and inform the DM/DC about her condition.

Btw... I've seen many a divers in their 50s... I even have a dive buddy in his early 60s.

Goodluck.  ;)
