Nice, just seen them.  Great to have 2 strobes and good arms!  Any vignetting issues at wide end?

Not really that bad, just zooom in once and the vignetting is eliminated. Just that for my housing, I got to lock my zoom button as if i zoom in too much, it will hit the port, and will have a lens error, so I basically would set a custom setting with my camera with the appropriate focal length, then just use that fixed position through the whole dive. You're using it with a Ikelite or FIX?

big one. size does matter!!!
i think cool shots can be taken when u are able to swivel the other way around to video yourself whilst scootering..

The bottom is just a stand, not part of the setup. The mount can swivel, but I the clearance is too narrow for a standard camera mount screw - will need to find a flatter replacement so that it can swivel all round.

hmm.. i compared the pictures taken by others, view ful size in pc not much different.

but if shoot under different places and different lighting, it may produce different thing.

im sucks about camera stuffs.. lol.

nex is mirco 4/3 right? ...and no flash right? might as well get dslr lo..

yea.. thats my though also.. Nex5 + aquatica housing need so many stuffs.. dom pot? how to spell it? haha
the same set up for Nex5 will cost about 4.5k.. might as well get a dslr rather than half dslr half compact.

this S95 set only cost $2k plus. hehe.. my own viewing pleasure should be good enough la since a lot of bros & sis using it and can produce nice photos

NEX is a 'mirrorless APS-C' camera... not 4/3  ;)

IIRC... the crop factor should be x1.5  :)

Nope NEX is from Sony with an APS-C sized sensor which is bigger than the Micro 4/3 sensor. It has a small add-on flash unit which can optically trigger strobes. In terms of sensor size it's the same as a entry level DSLR.

Haha...

Anyway what's the cost of the Patima housing ah? Personally, if u can put in another $200-250, I recommend getting a close up lens. Cos the macro for S95 is quite weak, 5cm. Unlike the 1cm for G12. It will be quite frustrating when u wanna frame small nudis and shrimps.

Wah... So expensive?? Can buy 2 Ikelite le...  But of cos Ikelite ones are plastic la. And the fiber optic quite sux also.

No need cammo suit la. Cos ur red color too bright already. ;D ;D ;D. When u spot them, Dun place ur camera infront of them immediately. Just stay around it and give it sometime to get use to u, and slowly move the camera closer inch by inch...

$40-50++ can't really remember. Comes in a few size for difference torch. You'll need a triple clamp to hold it... but remember, triple clamp isn't as strong as normal clamp...  :P

Think it's a 46mm or something like that thread. S&S made dedicated lens to their unique thread sizes if I'm not wrong.

I just bought Oly TG-810 with housing ordered from USA for my wife (she doesn't like DX-1G I gave to her). One neat feature of this camera that I would like to share is ability to record water depth also it has compass and GPS. Pretty neat feature for compact camera. IWill test it on our next trip in November.

Limited space... so, Dome have to cover one strobe...  :P

The StiX Float Belt is around the 'neck' of the flat port...  :)

Yup... need to remove 4 piece (out of 10) of the Float Belt or the setup is too light for Macro... the front kept floating... even I am lifted upwards...  :P

For Wide Angle.. no belt and only using one set of ULCS 8" arms with float + the normal 5" arm...

Will be testing till I get the combo right... since I've add ULCS Neck Clamp and extra long clamp... weighted difference again... also hoping to add a GoPro on the Right Side of the Arm for Video (like the  Left Side for the BigBlue Focus Light)

May I know why you have your Sola 500 on the side  ?? If you move your strobe into a forward position for Macro/Close-up... won't the Arms block the Sola  ??

Understood... but, your Sola 500 could also be use as a Focus Light... and at that position... IMO, kind of hard to do that... but must see in real life to know...  :P
