RX100 V - custom white balance
« on: 13 Mar 18, 22:40 »
Hi

I am thinking of purchasing one of these, does anyone who owns one have anything they can share about setting the custom white balance, at depth, for stills shooting?

I have heard the Sony isn't great in this respect, but would be interested to hear from people with experience.

Thanks

I had this and now the new firmware come with underwater white balance. It is ok till 10m+. After that it is all blue. I have to custom white balance for post production for video clips below 15m.

I use RX100IV. The underwater isn't working very well. I use video light instead.
