Want to start scuba diving?

Hey everyone,

 I want to learn scuba diving because I have a big interest in the ocean and whats beneath. I would love to start scuba diving, but I'm not sure if I can. I am around 5'2  and I know the equipment is quite heavy.
I know how to swim which helps a ton.

If anyone could help me get started as in what to buy or give some information, that would be greatly appreciated.

Your height is not a problem, i hav frds same height as you .. the weight of equipment is heavy.. but manageble. Anyway under the water, it is weightless.
