Jordan, really like the last photo, IDed the creature yet? Looks like a crab...

Yup it's a porcelian crab found on anemone. Found one in Dayang for the first time earlier this year. Yup Dayang always holds a nice surprise.  :)

yup.. its a polycine crab indeed.  Very pretty little crab I have yet to successfully shoot.
The ones at Lembeh tend to pose for a bit before going into hiding ;p

Yeah... it was a great trip even though viz was not that great. :)

learned a lot simply by diving: buoyancy control, drift diving (extreme) :D, taking care of my uncovered knees against the corals and rocks etc...  and using Jet Fins for the first time. (SHIOK!)

Depends if you can get close enough for a look before the anemone fish start biting your fingers and charging and crashing into your mask.  ;)

Anyway a slow approach will ensure you get a good look and nice pose, esp if they're feeding.

Good work Jordan. Did you get yourself a strobe?

Think Jordie did it with his internal flash and a flashlight.
Some very beautiful photos there Jordan! Keep them coming!
