Shark Savers managed to collect 4704 Say NO to Shark Fin Soup pledges at MIDE! Thank you very much for the support, warmth & hospitality!
Sorry to say that compared to the ADEX crowd, the people at MIDE were much more willing to sign the pledges & they were happy to take our brochures to give to friends & spread the awareness.
If divers don't defend the sharks, who will?? Are u expecting other people to do that for you? Give up the tasteless fins!

It was packed from the minute the doors opened at 10am Friday.

But then again, I think that was mainly because the venue was pretty small. I hope they switch to a bigger place.

For me, I found that having so many gear retailers at one place made my choosing new gear so much easier. I suppose that's true for any kind of trade fair. But no great deals or promos.

A booth for diving in Brunei opened for the first time at MIDE. They got a lot of attention.
