MY Immigration Biometric Scan

Hi All,

How does this new measure by MY Gov affect your plans for diving in West Malaysia? E.g. for the usual ferry to Dayang we need to reach Mersing by 12midnight, that means leave SG by about 8pm. How do should we plan now that immigrations clearance can be between 1hr to 6hrs?

No problem, just got back from Tioman last week through Woodlands. The Malaysian immigration scanned my thumb but it take only take a second.

i thought it's the two index fingers??

when i went Malaysia, the Malaysian custom officer didn't even say anything... just lift one index finger at me.
Lucky i never use middle finger back at him.

Sorry, got confuse. Thumb was Singapore. Malaysia, its both the index fingers plus a sticker on your passport.

yes... i think stick to MV Seaborne, Diverace, or Black Manta. it's way too much hassle.

Had to queue for at least 20-30 minutes at Malaysian immigration the last time i went.
